One Team, Two Homes
We’re proud to officially introduce the relationship between Renzo Gracie Round Rock and Renzo Gracie Pflugerville two academies, one vision, and the foundation of what we are building together as Renzo Gracie Lone Star Team.
This isn’t about opening a second location and running two separate schools. This is about creating a unified team, a shared culture, and a training environment where our students have more opportunity than ever before.
The Beginning of Renzo Gracie Lone Star Team
- Safety on the mats
- Technical, effective jiu jitsu
- Respect for training partners
- An unmatched sense of community
Both locations operate under the same leadership, with Professor Gabe Hansell as head instructor and an overlapping team of coaches who teach across both academies. That means the culture, standards, and expectations remain consistent no matter which room you’re training in.
Not Two Gyms. One Team.
Renzo Gracie Round Rock and Renzo Gracie Pflugerville are sister programs, not separate academies.
A membership at one location gives you full access to classes at both.
You are not choosing between gyms you are gaining access to an expanded training schedule, more coaching, more teammates, and more opportunities to grow.
A Complimentary Training Structure
- Round Rock will continue to emphasize gi training, building strong fundamentals, technical precision, and traditional development.
- Pflugerville will focus on no-gi training, with an emphasis on modern applications, wrestling integration, and fast-paced rounds.
Want to train in the gi? Head to Round Rock.
Want to train no-gi? Head to Pflugerville.
Want both in the same week? You have it.
More Access, More Growth
- A larger pool of training partners
- More class times and schedule flexibility
- Exposure to multiple coaching styles within one unified system
- A stronger competition team
- A deeper and more connected community
Building the Future Together
Renzo Gracie Lone Star Team represents the next step in our journey not just as a school, but as a community.
Two homes.
One standard.
One culture.
One team.
We’re grateful for every student, parent, and teammate who has helped us build this. The future of jiu jitsu in Round Rock and Pflugerville is something we’re creating together—one class, one round, and one team at a time.“
